There are licensing requirements, software training, carrier certifications, C.E. requirements, having the proper equipment for the job, and getting yourself listed on the rosters of as many IA firms as possible. Even after meeting these requirements, the job remains demanding, both physically and mentally, and there is no guarantee you will receive a call to work as an independent adjuster.
We have since expanded into Insurance Consulting and Xactimate Estimate writing services for homeowners who want a clear, accurate estimate of their loss but have their own contractor and do not want anyone else’s name on their indemnity payments. We offer an alternative solution to Public Adjusters that require a contract, take on average 10% of your claim payment, and require their authorization to release your insurance claim payment.
